Management Staff
Michael Yee, CHMM, REP, RS
Manager
In his over 24 years of environmental experience, Mr. Yee has
enforced Washington State public health regulations, instructed
graduate level public health courses, and managed projects throughout
the Pacific involving such technologies as ultrafiltration, distillation,
centrifugation, carbon absorption, chemical fixation/stabilization,
incineration, low temperature thermal heat desorption, and bioremediation.
His primary responsibilities include: preliminary assessments
and site investigations; RCRA and TSCA facility audits, corrective
actions, and closures; remedial investigations and feasibility
studies; remedial actions, SPCC and NPDES preparations; conducting
DOT/EPA/OSHA training classes; estimating; contract administration;
and plan and program development. Mr. Yee received his Bachelor
of Science in Environmental Health from the University of Washington
and his Master of Public Health from the University of Hawaii.
Gregory Perry
Manager
Mr. Perry possesses over 23 years of proven environmental management
experience. He has successfully managed remedial activities at
military bases throughout the Pacific, including Hawaii, Guam,
Saipan, Kwajalein Atoll, and Johnston Island. His extensive environmental
experience includes UST closures, RCRA waste management, and
PCB transformer decommissionings for large corporations. His
primary responsibilities include: ensuring worker health and
safety; performing work in accordance with EPA/DOT/OSHA protocol;
estimating; and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
Brant Tanaka, CIE
Manager
Mr. Tanaka has over 19 years of environmental experience. His
experiences include environmental enforcement for the Hawaii
State Department of Health and environmental consulting for private,
military, and local government agencies. His past projects include
a wide range of environmental issues including managing stormwater
runoff from agricultural facilities, closing and remediating
solid waste facilities, acting as the health and safety officer
for remediation and investigation projects, completing environmental
audits of the Hawaii State airports, classifying soil conditions,
and managing asbestos, lead, mold, and other industrial hygiene
investigations. Mr. Tanaka received his Bachelor’s degree in
Earth Science/Geology from the University of Washington and his
graduate degree from the University of Hawaii.
Damon
Hamura
Manager
Mr. Hamura has over 15 years of environmental experience. His responsibilites
include
Phase
I,
II,
and
III
environmental assessments and cleanups. He possesses vast experience in construction
management,
soil and
groundwater investigations, free product recovery systems, bioremediation, statistical
analysis, passive soil gas surveys, underground storage tank (UST) closures,
global positioning system (GPS) instrumentation, CAD, spill prevention control
and countermeasures plans (SPCC), and NPDES permitting. He has utilized his extensive
knowledge of the Hawaii State Contingency Plan, UST Technical Guidance Manual,
Hawaii Voluntary Response Program (VRP), EPA Data Quality Objective Process and
Preliminary Remediation Goals to meet various government compliance requirements.
Mr. Hamura graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Loyola
Marymount University
