What You’ll Do
Data Collection & Field Operations: Support field workflows by deploying, configuring, and managing data collection forms and maps using ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS and Survey123.
Spatial & Network Analysis: Perform spatial analysis, proximity modeling, and route/accessibility optimizations utilizing ArcGIS Pro and the ArcGIS Network Analyst toolset to support environmental sampling, site assessments, and routing logistics.
GeoAI & Advanced Analytics: Leverage Esri’s GeoAI Toolbox and deep learning tools to assist in automated feature extraction, pattern detection, and land-use/environmental change tracking.
Visualization & Reporting: Build and maintain interactive, real-time tracking interfaces using ArcGIS Dashboards and ArcGIS Experience Builder to summarize environmental data for project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Data Management: Clean, organize, geocode, and maintain spatial geodatabases (ArcGIS Online / Enterprise) ensuring high data integrity for environmental compliance reports.
Conduct Site Reconnaissance: Identify, verify, and validate structural and spatial features for baseline assessments.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geography, or a related discipline.
Basic proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, including standard spatial analysis tools and the ArcGIS Network Analyst extension.
Hands-on experience configuring and using ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Survey123, and building custom ArcGIS Dashboards.
Understanding of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcSDE, versioning, and geoprocessing.
Knowledge of publishing with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online;
Development and deployment of data collection systems including Esri mobile applications.
Familiarity with or exposure to Esri GeoAI tools (machine learning/deep learning workflows in ArcGIS Pro, such as automated image classification or object detection).
Familiarity of IBM Maximo a plus.
Strong technical writing, problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail. Experience with Python (ArcPy) or SQL is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to conduct field work under varying outdoor weather conditions across Hawaii when required.
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to interview in Honolulu
